Children will build and program a simple “dancing” robot using a sound sensor, enabling it to react to clapping and different sound levels with a variety of movements. This fully hands-on workshop combines building, coding and creativity, giving young people an engaging introduction to robotics and programming.
This activity will be held at Lewsey Learning Centre.
Led by musician Raf Francis, this fun and interactive workshop introduces children to rhythm using drums and percussion instruments. Through energetic group activities, participants will build confidence, coordination and teamwork skills in a supportive and creative environment.

Learn the basics of DJing with our local radio LUR. They will be giving a guided tour of the equipment, including key functions and how DJs prepare for gigs and radio shows. Young people will then get hands-on experience mixing songs, using sound effects and other DJ techniques, while creating a playlist for a DJ set.

Join Black British Ballet for a fun-filled family dance adventure! Designed for children aged 3–5 and their grown-ups, this playful workshop uses music, movement and imagination to explore the joy of dance together in a welcoming, inclusive environment.
