Luton Libraries stock a wide range of books and eBooks in world languages.
We are currently curating collections of books in the following languages: Urdu, Gujarati, Polish, Cantonese, Bengali, Panjabi, Spanish, Tamil, Romanian, Lithuanian, Ukranian, Pashto and German. Small collections of books in other languages are also available.
The main collections are located at Luton Central Library.
A range of children’s dual language and bilingual books, including the most recent additions of Dari and Ukrainian, can be found in all branches.
Digital books to download to your device or read in your browser can be found in the eLibrary/communitylanguages. Languages include: Bengali, Cantonese, French, German, Gujarati, Italian, Japanese, Lithuanian, Polish, Spanish, Tamil, Ukrainian, and Urdu. There is also a selection of bilingual and ESOL titles.
