We have a selection of Easy Read and Widget documents about the changes at Central Library: Library Changes; Feeling Safe and Comfortable in the Library; and Finding Children's Books. If you would like to be sent these PDFs, please email [email protected] and put "SOCIAL STORIES" in the subject line. 

 

In all our libraries you will find or can request:

• multisensory books

• children’s books in large print and braille

• a pop up sensory space available to borrow (you’ll need your library card)

• Makaton signing at Rhyme Times

 

eLibrary Resources

 

Our eLibrary resources all have accessibility options. 

iVox offers immersive animated read-along books that can be accessed online or via the iVox app. 

Luton Libraries also has a subscription to Widget Online. This software enables you to create symbol-based communication tools. Speak to the library team to find out more.
